3. Cloud Infrastructure & Operational Responsibilities
TellIaC is an automated code synthesis and provisioning tool. By using TellIaC to provision resources on third-party cloud platforms (including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes), you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following:
-
Sole Operational Authority: You are solely responsible for executing commands (such as
telliac apply, telliac destroy, ortelliac export) against your infrastructure. You must always review the output oftelliac planprior to applying changes. -
Third-Party Cloud Provider Billing: TellIaC includes an estimation utility (
telliac cost) for planning purposes. However, actual cloud billing is determined entirely by your agreements with your third-party cloud providers. TellIaC accepts zero liability for any compute, storage, networking, or ingress/egress charges billed by cloud vendors. - IAM & Credential Security: You are solely responsible for securing your cloud provider credentials, setting appropriate least-privilege IAM permissions, and safely managing local and remote state storage files.
4. Code Examples and Documentation Accuracy
All documentation, guides, configuration snippets (.hiac and exported .tf), and architectural diagrams provided on this website are intended for educational and reference purposes. While we strive to ensure technical accuracy and test our examples against current provider APIs, cloud providers frequently update resource arguments, deprecate API versions, or adjust default quotas.
Users must validate all code snippets in non-production sandbox environments before applying them to mission-critical infrastructure. For further details, please review our Engineering Disclaimer.
5. Acceptable Website Use
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website, servers, or networks connected to our documentation portal.
- Engage in automated scraping or denial-of-service attacks that degrade portal performance for other community members.
- Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or manipulate our advertising delivery systems.

7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be noted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of TellIaC constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
